Empower NGO is a newly established organization in Alexandroupolis, Greece, with a team of experienced professionals in the field of Erasmus projects. The organization aims to empower women living in the region through entrepreneurship skills development, volunteer work, and various activities that contribute to their empowerment. The organization also aims to resolve the problems of disabled citizens and socially vulnerable individuals. The main activities of Empower NGO include organizing various events aimed at opening new workplaces, implementing training courses on social entrepreneurship, and organizing local, national, and international cultural events. The organization also carries out local and regional studies for future activities and other projects in the region that need to be researched. Empower NGO has a target group of women living in the region, disabled citizens, socially vulnerable individuals, and young people who want to participate in cultural and youth events, exchange experiences, and develop new talent. The organization also aims to promote human rights, gender equality, and women's empowerment through various programs. The organization previously realized an Erasmus+ Sport project called "Chess for Deaf," where they were responsible for developing the scenarios, curriculum, and strategy, as well as producing 2D animations and final video lessons with sign language and subtitles in partner languages. The project aimed to promote the inclusion of deaf individuals in sports and improve their cognitive and social skills.
