Lifelong learning: We design, request, and manage training projects aimed at employed, self-employed and
unemployed workers. We are focused on upskilling and reskilling training for unemployed and employed people, and have been trained more than 100k students only the last year, in this specific training for those collectives.
Adult education: We are accredited as an adult education entity by the Spanish National Agency (SEPIE), 2022-1-ES01-KA121-ADU-000061236 , and we are currently developing some projects in this field. Alive is a project aimed to foster digitalisation in adults over 45 years old trough a virtual learning environment. Femxa specialises in training for the over-18s. In 2020 alone, we trained 29% of students over the age of 45 in our granted training (around 7,000 adults over the age of 45).
One of the biggest challenges in the field of training, highlighted by the EU Skills Agenda and the EU Lifelong Learning Programme (LLP), or Agenda for Adult Learning, is to increase digital skills in order to adapt teaching to the current scenario and contribute to creating e-learning solutions, and this is what we are focusing on in our new projects with adults.
In the desire to improve the employability of adults and offer them the possibility of increasing their skills and adapting them to the changing demands of the current scenario, Femxa is committed to initiatives that can transform the practices of the teaching-learning process and aim to generate dynamic systems that increase the welfare and wealth of the territories by promoting the presence of the different productive sectors in adult education and training.
Vocational training: We are the leading company in relation to Insertion Projects under the state calls of the Ministry of Employment and we are used to work with the youth collective. Insertion projects are training projects that combine the development of specific training for the qualification of the participants with a subsequent hiring by a company, at a national and international level. In the last two years we achieved a rate of 80% in the consecution of employability a in a pilot with EEA Norway grants fund for people under 30 years. We also develop a lot of international projects in the field of VET: PIVET, Sparks, Digifact, WIN are some examples
Development of innovative educational methods: We like to think of the projects department as the company's tool for educational development and innovation, as we design, implement and pilot various innovative tools and methodologies in the field of non-formal education for young people, adults and people with disabilities, which we then include in our day-to-day work.
Youth unemployment: Femxa is an authorised centre to provide continuous Vocational Training for Employment, and has
the following accredited censuses, in which numerous associated certificates of professionalism
are taught. We currently accredit more than 300 certificates for Femxa, but counting all the
companies in the group, this would be many more.
As specified above in accreditations, Femxa is a centre authorised to provide training based on the
National Catalogue of Qualifications and an entity that provides authorised training programmes.
Likewise, Femxa n is a reference entity in continuous training for workers, having extensive
experience in continuous training for the education sector (formal and non-formal).It is also a
specialised entity and a reference throughout Spain in training for companies, being one of its most
active lines of business. In the last four years it has provided more than 500 training actions and
has trained almost 7,000 students. In addition, we have determined the training sectors most in
demand by companies that rely on Femxa to provide and manage their training, with the education
sector standing out as one of its greatest exponents. Finally, we are currently developing more than
six Erasmus + in the field of VET.
Career guidance / employment services: We are currently developing a digital tool oriented towards counselling and career-guideance for those unemployed/employed people that desires more information to find a job or reskilling/upskilling.
Recognition of non-formal and informal qualifications: Among its activities, Femxa carries out consulting and development of digital content for corporations and universities, through its own training platform, as well as adapting to the platforms of the different organizations. The company has developed its own online training platform accredited by the State Public Employment Service (SEPE) for the delivery of professional certificates, with availability of face-to-face facilities throughout Spain. It implements open-source online training platforms (LMS) and reference solutions from manufacturers, and provides support, management and follow up of e-learning non formal training
