Description
According to the 2018 census, district of Besiktas hosts 180.000 inhabitants. Although it is one of the small districts of Istanbul, it connects two continents with 15 July Martyrs Bridge and Fatih Sultan Mehmet Bridge. Bridges carry average of 2 million people per day. With the late-Ottoman architecture, natural landscapes on the Bosphorus, universities and business centers, Besiktas is a lively area.
