We are an organization of people from different fields such as law, anthropology, sociology, psychology, political science, communication, cooperation, international relations, Arabic and Hebrew studies, or even disciplines of natural sciences and engineering. The entity aims to assert itself as a reference organization from the Social and Solidarity Economy in the bridge between the Arab world and Catalonia from Barcelona, with a clear Mediterranean insight. In addition, our organization has completely internalized the gender perspective, and the women are the majority of members and volunteers, and they are both the heart and the working engine of the organization. The organization claims the role of women both in history and in the present, in the different activities, and gives voice to women, in the plural, in their diversity and difference. The entity is ultimately committed to the defense of human rights, gender equality, democratic values, solidarity, and reflects these principles in all its actions and projects. At the level of the social object/aim or specific objectives, the organization seeks to: - Encourage debate and dissemination of scientific, social and cultural production. - Support the professional, academic or associative development of migrants of Arab, European and/or diverse origin in Catalonia. - To spread the Arab culture and that of the societies of the southern shore of the Mediterranean. - Promote youth participation, with special attention to unaccompanied minors, young people ex-guardianship by the 'Generalitat de Catalunya' (Catalonia's Government), and unaccompanied migrant youth in general. - Create a communication platform, known as Canal EuroArab, aimed mainly at the Arab, Muslim and/or diverse communities of Barcelona. - Make visible and empower people and groups from diverse and/or migratory backgrounds. - Promote actions to fight against discrimination and racism in all its forms, emphasizing minority groups and/or from diverse contexts. - Fostering interculturality, as well as inter-religious, inter-faith and intercultural dialogue. - Promote and create bridges of communication and transnational development between Catalonia and the Arab world in particular, and the Euro-Arab and Mediterranean space in general. - Promote Euro-Arab and Mediterranean dialogue and cooperation from Barcelona.
