University of Thessaly, with 18 Departments and various Research Centres, is a University with its own identity and with a prominent position in our national educational system. The Innovation and Entrepreneurship Unit (IEU) of University of Thessaly is responsible for the development and operation of Entrepreneurship Education Programs in the University of Thessaly. We are considered to be at the top of similar University services in Greece. Additionally we participate in many EU projects where we teach entrepreneurship using innovative and non-formal methods. Furthermore, we support members of the academic community in order to exploit research outcomes or seek partners
Today the University of Thessaly has 9.647 undergraduate students, 1.471 postgraduate students and 1.148 PhD students.In addition, University of Thessaly, has participated and coordinated several EU co-financed projects such as LIFE, RFSR, FP7, INTERREG, MED, LLP, Horizon 2020 etc.
