Open Call for ISBA Presenters
Apply and moderate your panel!

Ladies and Gentlemen,

Piotr Kuźniak, President of ISBA, on behalf of the organizers of the 13th ISBA Conference - The Imago Foundation, the Bonitum Association, and the Potrafię Pomóc, invites you to take part in the enrolment for presenters leading the workshops and discussion panels. The event is under the patronage of the Marshal of Lower Silesian Voivodeship.

The call for applications is open to anyone who designs, provides, uses, or needs respite services, including but not limited to: policymakers and program administrators, researchers, and professionals. We are looking for 32 presentations in the following areas of respite support:

  • Technology and software in care services
  • Inclusive tourism, activity- and adventure-based support
  • Community-based support programs
  • Center-based and daycare services
  • Respite innovations
  • Immigrants support

We expect from the presenters not only involvement in their own presentations, but also engagement with the creative work, contact, and discussion with the participants. The audience will include family caregivers, persons with disabilities, older adults, parents, grandparents, guardians, respite providers, social workers, case managers, program managers, nurses, researchers, advocates, direct support staff, teachers, leaders of faith-based organizations, policymakers, NGOs, public administration of all levels, and other community/business leaders who influence and shape the role of respite in the support network. Our aim is to host 250-300 conference participants from, among others, Europe, North America, Asia, and Australia. This way we will be able to Build Better Breaks Together and create even better respite care in the future.

In addition to recognition among representatives of organizations from around the world and the opportunity to participate in an international conference, you will gain many other benefits. To find out what requirements you must meet to become one of the presenters, and what you will gain from it, visit our website by clicking on the link below.
